- Is Python the right choice for our project?
- Python is worth considering for application backends, business automation, data processing, and AI integrations. We start with the task your users need to complete, your existing systems, and the people who will maintain the product. We then review expected data volumes, response times, hosting constraints, and suitable libraries. If another technology fits a critical part better, we explain the tradeoff before agreeing the implementation; the project does not need to use one language for everything.
- Can you improve an existing Python application?
- Yes, we can discuss extending or improving an existing codebase. A focused review looks at the Python version, dependencies, application structure, tests, deployment process, and known issues. Repository access and a safe test environment help us understand what can be retained and where changes carry risk. We use those findings to propose a scoped improvement, such as a new integration, a workflow fix, or a phased upgrade, rather than assuming the whole application needs to be rebuilt.
- Can Python connect our website, CRM, databases, or AI tools?
- We can build integrations where the systems provide suitable APIs, data access, or supported exchange formats. Before development, we confirm the information that must move between systems, access permissions, authentication, third-party limits, and what should happen when a connection fails. For AI features, we also define approved sources, evaluation examples, and which responses or actions need human review. Third-party subscriptions, usage charges, and any unavailable interfaces are discussed as part of the scope.
- How do you check performance and reliability?
- We agree the important workflows and acceptance criteria, then check them with representative inputs and expected failure cases. Depending on the scope, this can include API response checks, data-quality rules, processing times, integration failures, and recovery steps. If a task is too slow, we investigate the bottleneck before choosing changes such as query improvements, a background worker, or a specialised library. Capacity and performance conclusions are tied to the tested workload and environment, so they are not presented as guarantees for every future usage level.
- What will we receive at handover, and can you provide ongoing support?
- The handover is defined in the project agreement and can include the agreed source code, environment setup, dependency information, API and data contracts, deployment steps, test findings, and known limitations. Ownership and transfer conditions, third-party licences, account access, and maintenance responsibilities are recorded so your team understands what it receives. Training, maintenance, monitoring, or further development can be scoped separately. We confirm the support channels and response arrangements in writing rather than assuming every project includes unlimited support.
